Twas the night before Christmas…

And our young blogger stopped and realized she hadn’t been blogging a lot.

The posts were all hung in the drafts with care, in hopes that she would have the courage to put them out there.

People the world over were nestled in cozy spaces, with the glaring blue light of their phones in their faces.

With her and her laptop and you with your phone, she began to type of things she ponders while alone.

Like, why Christians adopted pagan holidays and traditions only to shame the very pagans who’ve created these traditions?

Where do we go when we fall asleep? Have you ever felt like you were falling in your sleep?

Why do cities like Charlotte and Charleston have a growing infestation of gentrification?

Is the Japanese legend that when you’re wide awake at night it means you’re in someone else’s dream true? Who’s dreaming of me?! I’d like some sleep!

Why do I learn more about history, politics, and economics from Twitter better than any history class I’ve taken in public school?

Why is there history we’re never shown? Who keeps this information from us? And how did it benefit them?

Why do we go by the Gregorian calendar? Why were days designated to certain Norse gods?

Wow, I’ve actually been up too late. Good night to all, and have a Merry Christmas Day!!
