Things I Will Not Take Feedback On

Hi. It’s been a long time. I shouldn’t have left you, without a hastily slapped-together blogpost to step to. 

So, I’m going to be honest, even though I created a blog where the premise is to write about things I think about late at night instead of sleeping, I haven’t truly found my footing yet. Partially because I don’t feel 100% comfortable immortalizing my 20-something life on the internet, and partially because I forget what I’m angsty about the moment I open up a word document. 

With that being said, I just wanted to do something fun. Something to get my mind off of the things I would’ve ranted about on KMUAN. Which kind of defeats the purpose of this blog… 

Anyway. Here are a few things that I will not be accepting feedback on. I must preface by saying these are my own random opinions, and shouldn’t be considered beyond surface level thoughts. It’s late at night. You shouldn’t be thinking to hard. 

Okay!

Kids who were really into cars — like Hotwheels & what not — have the same energy as horse girls. 

People who were into mythology, fairies, dragons — wound up being an LGBTQ+ person. 

When guys have gained weight they typically start workout, when girls do, we just pull our waistband over our newly grown tummy. 

Mahalia Byrant & Breonna Taylor’s cases didn’t get enough public attention & outrage. 

Sailor Moon could defeat Thanos. Honestly any Sailor Guardian could. 

We were protesting the streets with police in riot gear just one year ago, and people were being snatched and thrown into vans. And that just got brushed off a little too quick for my liking. 

Zack Fox is Megan Thee Stallion, but with Adult Swim vibes. 

Finn from the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy could’ve been a Jedi too. His character development was set up perfectly for it. Screw the racism John Boyega experienced filming SW. 

People are getting fed up with capitalism in its current state. Something’s got to give. 

Princess Tiana from The Princess & the Frog deserved her own animated TV series about running Tiana’s Palace. We didn’t get a lot of content from her era. 

People who don’t choose violence with you when you’ve pissed them off and know they’re mad are scary. 

Britney Spears takes more artistic influence from Janet Jackson than Madonna. 

Justin Timberlake still owes Britney & Janet a genuine apology.

People who don’t like Megan Thee Stallion, and their dislike centers around how Megan expresses her sexuality are weird. Like, who’s mad about someone else’s life.

The amount of close coverage we have/had on the Royal UK Family is weird. Why are we idolizing monarchs of a kingdom whose power & wealth stem from decades of war, colonization, and racism?

Also the Royal Family ain’t sh*t for how they treated Princess Diana & how they treated Meghan Markle.

In general, leave the Meg(h)ans alone.

To each their own, but Disney’s Tangled slaps in comparison to Frozen, as much as I liked the movie.

That’s about as many hot takes as I can think of. And there are probably more lurking in my brain. But I think that’s enough.

You should probably get some rest, you probably got a headache. Honestly, I think I have one too. Remember to take care of yourself. Don’t let life snuff out your spark. Good night.
